Sister Chan Duc—Talk: Bodhichitta in Action: Tending to Mother Earth

Sister Chan Duc (Sister True Virtue) is the first Western European woman to be ordained as a nun by Thich Nhat Hanh. Sister Chan Duc is a much-loved senior Dharma teacher and widely recognized as an accomplished and insightful Buddhist scholar. She travels widely, leading meditation retreats, including in her ancestral land of England. In 2000, she became the first Western European nun to teach Buddhist Dharma in Thailand, and is currently Dean of Practice at the European Institute of Applied Buddhism in Germany. She is the author of True Virtue: The Autobiography of a Western Buddhist Nun.
