About the Presenter, Dr. Jonathan Fisher

Jonathan Fisher, MD, FACC is a Harvard-trained cardiologist, mindfulness meditation teacher, and organizational well-being leader. For over 25 years, he has cared for thousands of patients with heart disease while helping teams and organizations reduce stress, prevent burnout, and cultivate resilience. He currently serves as Physician Executive for Well-Being and Resiliency at Novant Health, developing strategies to support more than 3,000 physicians and advanced practice providers.

A certified mindfulness teacher and resilience trainer, Dr. Fisher integrates medical science, psychology, and contemplative wisdom in his keynotes, workshops, and retreats for audiences worldwide—including Fortune 100 companies, leading health systems, and international conferences. He co-founded the Ending Clinician Burnout Global Community and co-hosts its annual summit, the world’s largest gathering dedicated to ending burnout in healthcare.

Dr. Fisher’s work is shaped by his personal journey through anxiety and burnout, which deepened his commitment to helping others “train the mind and heal the heart.” His award-winning first book, Just One Heart: A Cardiologist’s Guide to Healing, Health, and Happiness, explores the profound connection between heart health and overall well-being.

He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife, three children, and two doodles, and continues to write, speak, and teach on the integration of modern medicine with timeless wisdom traditions.
